Client Testimonials

Emma Catalano

Hi my name is Emma Catalano. My dogs Beans and I trained with Alex for roughly 8 months and still occasionally go to classes and visit her. Alex helped Beans with manners, impulse control and eventually she helped Beans task train so she could become a service dog. Alex is very passionate with her work and very knowledgeable at what she does. Not only is she an amazing trainer but she is also a wonderful person and really makes connections with the dogs she works with and their owners. Her pricing is also very affordable at the time I was a very broke high school student and I was worried about prices but Alex is very understanding and allowed for very reasonable pricing. I couldn’t have asked for a better trainer she is the absolute best. Lots of love Emma and Beans.

We have been training with Alex since February 14, 2024, and in that time, our purebred Siberian Husky (Paceaux Valentine) has gone from wild and crazy to calm and graceful!  We never thought we could train a Husky, but now he is doing great and going to be my PSD (Psychiatric Service Dog).  It’s amazing what the right trainer with the right attitude can do to accomplish what we never thought possible.  Every time we train with Alex, we leave class feeling so good about where we are as a team and know exactly what we need to work on till the next class.  Alex takes the time to work with you and gives you pointers along the way that you can’t just “Google”.  If you really want to train your canine companion the right way, and to be a wonderful obedient member of your family, you will not find a more dedicated and devoted trainer anywhere around.  Alex has been amazing with us, and she doesn’t just train your dog, she works with you and walks you through every step of the way at YOUR CANINE’S pace, not hers.  We can’t thank her enough for everything she has done thus far, and we look forward to “finishing up” our service dog training with her and will ABSOLUTELY call her for brush-up work whenever needed.

One thing about being trained by Alex is not only does she train my pup, she also trains me as well.  I know absolutely nothing about dog language and now that Im going into her advanced classes with my pup, I know what hes telling me without actually telling me.  I could have not done it without her.  Whenever I have questions, she goes into detail on how I can fix things or alternatives I could use while training my baby.  Training does require you, yourself, to practice a whole lot with your pup but with having Alex literally a dial away, she helps me a ton with knowing his behavior and what he wants.

I recommend her to literally anyone including first time dog owners.  You will learn a bunch!!
